Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – Inter Milan fans booed player Romelu Lukaku when he entered the San Siro stadium during the team’s match against Roma, in the tenth round of the Italian League.
Video footage showed Inter Milan supporters jeering the Belgian striker as he entered the green rectangle to warm up with his teammates, before the start of the match.
Lukaku (30 years old) appeared to applaud all the fans in the stands, and then a smile appeared on his face.
Romelu Lukaku had worn the Inter Milan shirt in the past seasons, including on loan from the English club Chelsea, and he won a number of championships with him, most notably: the Italian League.
Lukaku left Inter Milan in the last summer transfer market, to join Roma.
