Inter Milan strengthened its lead in the Italian Football League standings, following its great victory over its guest, Salernitana, 4-0, in the 24th round of the competition.

Inter Milan, which will face a heated confrontation with its Spanish guest Atletico Madrid next Tuesday in the first leg of the round of 16 in the Champions League, raised its score to 63 points in first place, 10 points behind second-placed Juventus, which plays its host Hellas tomorrow.
