ㅇ In the 2022 revised curriculum, as the ‘learning element’ item was omitted from all subjects, descriptions of individual and specific historical events, including the ‘5·18 Democratization Movement’, were minimized in the history curriculum.

ㅇ The policy research team, which was formed in December 2021 and developed the history curriculum, also reduced the description of specific historical events (terms) with this purpose. it wasn’t done

□ The names of specific historical events have been omitted, but like the current curriculum, the 2022 revised curriculum has developed relevant achievement standards so that students can learn the process of the democratization movement from the April 19 Revolution to the June Democratic Uprising.
