The Transport Department stated that the following road sections that were previously closed due to stagnant water on the road have now been reopened, including the section of Po Lam North Road between Lam Shing Road and Po Lam South Road (round trip); Po Hong Road near Po Lam Road; The entire line of Fung Road (in the direction of Po Lam North Road); and the entire line of Ying Lai Road near Tseung Kwan O Upper Estate (in the round-trip direction).

Some netizens photographed that the slope of the mountain behind Cuilin Village had turned into a “mud waterfall” under the heavy rain. In addition, the Little Hawaii Trail at the back of Po Lam was also hit by mud and water, turning what was originally a small stream into a “big waterfall.”
