Ambassador Bassam Rady, a spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic, said in statements to the media delegation accompanying President Sisi in Washington, that President Sisi will hold today, Wednesday, at his residence in Washington, a meeting with members of the Friends of Egypt group in Congress from the Republican and Democratic parties.
President Sisi will also meet at the Washington Convention Center with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken; Then he will participate in the dinner hosted by US President “Joe Biden” at the White House in honor of the African leaders participating in the summit of the leaders of the United States and Africa.
President El-Sisi will also participate in the closing session of the US-African Business Forum, in the presence of US President Joe Biden.
President El-Sisi arrived in Washington, on Tuesday, to participate in the activities of the American-African summit.
According to President El-Sisi’s work program, he will focus during the summit’s work on issues of concern to African countries in light of the existing global challenges, strengthening the African-American partnership to confront the food security crisis, and facilitating the integration of African countries into the global economy, to benefit from the opportunities and advantages it provides in achieving economic growth.
