Solar energy in the field

In recent years, solar energy generation has been growing a lot in the country. In early 2023, it became the second largest source of electricity, surpassing wind. According to data from the Ministry of Mines and Energy, at the end of February the solar generation capacity reached the mark of 26 GW (Gigawatt), which represented an increase of 1 GW in relation to the wind capacity, of 25 GW.
With regard to the use of photovoltaic energy in agribusiness, the growth is even greater. According to a survey by the Brazilian Association of Photovoltaic Solar Energy (Absolar), in 2022 the country reached 94,600 systems installed in the field, an increase of 115% compared to the previous year.
Intelbras takes advantage of Agrishow to present several of its solar solutions, both on grid and off grid, which can benefit work in the field, providing significant savings in the electricity bill with return on investment between 3 and 5 years.

Intelbras at Agrishow presents off grid solutions

In the area of off grid solutions, which work autonomously, regardless of the local power grid, the company will take advantage of the event to show firsthand an inverter charger that enables the implementation of large off grid projects. In addition, it highlights its solar lighting solutions and solar energy equipment for pumping water.
With regard to on grid solutions, which require access to the public distribution network, the company presents its solar energy portfolio, which meets the demands of small to large companies, including solutions that can be financed via Finame.

Electromobility on the rise

The recently launched line of chargers for electric vehicles by Intelbras will also be present at Agrishow. The company’s portfolio comprises six models that serve both end consumers and corporate customers, marking the company’s entry into the electromobility sector.
The chargers have different powers and designs for specific needs and occasions, namely: Home (7.4 kw), Mini Portable (3 kw), City (11 kw and 7.4 kw) and Business (7.4 kw and 22 kW). All are compatible with the main models of electric vehicles in the Brazilian market.
The equipment can be applied in parking lots, agricultural companies and cooperatives, modernizing structures and preparing them for an already existing reality of electrification of the national vehicle fleet.

For companies operating in agribusiness and intending to incorporate electric vehicles into their operations, we have the Intelbras CVE digital solution. It is a software that assists in route planning, locating chargers, making reservations, and even allows you to choose among several alternatives the most appropriate one to pay for the recharge service. The professional version, CVE-Pro, is indicated for anyone who wants to create or manage a network of charging stations, as it allows tracking statistics, energy costs and revenues from recharges, as well as creating user groups, registering access tags and a lot more.
In addition, solutions will also be on display, such as sources, nobreaks, presence sensors and lighting.

communication and data

Connectivity in agribusiness is a subject of constant debate, especially with the introduction of new digital technologies in the sector, which enhance the reach of the internet. In the field or in industry, these technologies guarantee the performance of operations by delivering quality internet in any environment, which is fundamental for the evolution of production processes.
Among the connectivity solutions on display, stand out technologies in 5G networks, Wi-Fi, LoRa (long range), LTE and other fiber optic and IoT (Internet of Things) tools. To complement the solutions, the company will present the complete line of professional communication, which it offers from radiocommunicators to switchboards and headsets.

Data collection and analysis

In terms of data collection and analysis, Intelbras presents the meteorological station that enables complete production management in the field, providing accurate information on agroclimatic factors for large crops and plantations, as well as for monitoring animal production farms.
“We want partners and customers who visit our stand at Agrishow to get to know Intelbras’ differentials, such as its innovative DNA, the quality of its products and the trust and close relationship. We are going to take advantage of this opportunity to learn regarding the sector’s new demands, launch products first-hand and close deals”, concludes Marcus.
