Intel unveils the world’s fastest mobile unit processor

Today, Intel unveiled its 13th Generation Intel Core processors, which deliver exceptional levels of performance and unprecedented experiences for mobile platforms.

The company introduced 32 processors of this innovative category, equipped with a variety of features and capabilities for all laptop chips.

Exceptional performance for the Intel Core family of processors

“The 13th Generation Intel Core processor family delivers exceptional, scalable performance for leading platforms across all mobile PC chips,” said Michelle Johnston Holthouse, executive vice president and general manager, Customer Computing Group at Intel Corporation.

According to Intel, the company has provided advanced levels of performance and upgraded computing capabilities for gaming enthusiasts and pioneers of innovation with the announcement of the 13th generation Intel Core H-series processors, which include the first 24-core processor for laptops.

The 13th Gen HX processors are complemented by unique features including support for DDR4 and DDR5 memory, best-in-class connectivity and PCIe Gen5, providing the world’s best platform for mobile gaming.2

Features of the new Intel Core processor

New processor features include:

• Up to 5.6GHz frequency, the fastest processing speed in the notebook market, delivering up to 11% faster performance in single-threading3 and 49% faster in multitasking compared to the previous generation.4

• Processor with up to 24 cores (8 high-performance cores and 16 high-efficiency cores) and 32 threads, and an upgrade to Intel Thread Director intelligent workload scheduling technology.

• Full support for up to 128GB DDR5 (up to 5600MHz) and DDR4 (up to 3200MHz) memory.

• Intel Killer Wi-Fi 6E technology that provides up to six times faster Internet connection speeds with no crosstalk in Wi-Fi channels.

• Connectivity via the latest Bluetooth technology thanks to Bluetooth LE Audio and Bluetooth 5.2 from Intel that support two times faster connection speed, multiple devices and energy efficiency.

• Support for the Thunderbolt 4 port, which provides speeds of up to 40 Gbps, and the ability to connect the computer to many accessories and 4K screens.

• An integrated graphics experience thanks to enhanced driver and Intel discrete graphics expertise.

• Overclocking capabilities in all SCUs on HX and HK processors.

The designs of computers equipped with the thirteenth generation HX processors include five times more than those equipped with the twelfth generation, allowing users to choose from 60 designs to broadcast and create content and test advanced levels of gaming experiences.
