Intel introduces its new chips for laptops at CES 2022

Intel introduced its new chips for laptops and a few of the devices it uses at this year’s CES, and the chip maker announced it’s bringing 12th-generation hybrid CPUs to laptops a few months following introducing them to desktop PCs, according to an engadged report. .

These CPUs combine performance cores (P-cores) and effective cores (E-cores) on a single chip to be able to better handle the demands of different real-world tasks.

Faster cores can support your game, for example while slower cores take care of your streaming needs, and you’ll get 14 laptop cores that include HP’s updated EliteBook and ZBooks, plus MSI’s Stealth GS77 and Stealth GS66 gaming laptops.

Intel also revealed that its 12th-generation KS-series desktop chips, arriving this spring, will be able to hit 5.5GHz on a single core, plus it’s adding foldable specs to this year’s premium Evo PC line.
