A supposed processor benchmark Intel 14th generation Core i7-14700K in Cinebench and CPU-Z programs pointed out that the chip was regarding 17% faster than the current i7-13700K in multi-thread tests performed.
According to hardware leaker @wnxod, the Core i7-14700K scored 905 points in the CPU-Z single-core test and 14965 in the multi-threaded test. In Cinebench R23, the CPU scored 2192 points and 36296 points, respectively.
In both programs, the alleged Core i7-14700K performed regarding 17% faster than the i7-13700K in direct comparison. It is worth noting that this information is not official and is just rumors brought by a well-known leaker in the hardware industry.
Further details regarding the Core i7-14700K are also still a mystery, but rumors point out that the processor should be presented with a configuration of 8 performance cores and 12 efficiency cores, totaling 20.
The CPU is still identified with the Raptor Lake HX/S die and the entry in CPU-Z indicates that the CPU can reach up to 5.5 GHz, which is only 100 MHz more than the Core i7-13700K, but the supposed increase on core count should matter more.
The supposed Core i7-14700K showed a significant increase in multithreaded performance, but performance per single core should only improve by 4%. The expectation is that the series Raptor Lake Refresh launches this year, with the 14th generation arriving in 2023.
