Intel has released a beta driver version 31.0.101.4148 for Intel Arc and Intel Iris Xe Graphics cards on Windows 10 and 11 systems. This new version stands out above all for its support for the open beta of Diablo IV, which started its early access period this Friday (17) for those who participated in the pre-order the game.
The news is highlighted for Intel Arc A Graphics cards, and also has repercussions on games like Deceive Inc. and optimizations for the game Sons of the Forest, continuation of the survival game The Forest. There are also several game-related fixes, but also many known issues.
Among some of the problems fixed on Intel Arc Graphics cards, the company highlights the correction of a black line in the game The Riftbreaker, with DirectX12, in its version of Xbox Game Pass, in addition to a performance problem in the demo of the remake of Resident Evil 4 .
In terms of problems related to Intel Core producers, there are still adjustments to the textures of Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, Warhammer 40,000: Darktide and Dirt 5, all in DirectX12, each with a specific problem.

Even so, the company warns in its changelog of problems such as Diablo IV presenting problems in the character during the game with the setting ‘Highlight character when obscure’ enabled.
There may still be water coloring bugs in Sea of Thieves, benchmark mode bugs in Conqueror’s Blade, as well as a bug that spills over into games and causes the PC to crash following returning from standby. It may be necessary to cycle the system on and off for recovery.
GPU hardware acceleration may not be available for media playback and encoding with some versions of Adobe Premiere Pro and Blender may experience corruption when using the Nishita Sky texture node. Other errors include minor details in titles like Call of Duty Warzone 2.0, Total War: Warhammer III, and Plague Tale: Requiem.
The official driver can be downloaded from this link, where there is also the complete changelog for this version.
