Integrity announces the seizure of 9 commentators in the real estate registration departments in Basra

The department stated, in a statement received by Alsumaria News, that “a team from the operations room of the Commission’s Investigation Directorate in Basra moved to a number of real estate registration departments in the governorate center, districts, and districts, where the team was able to arrest (9) suspects in flagrante delicto.”

And the department continued, “The operation also resulted in the seizure of a car for one of the defendants, which contained a set of transactions,” noting that “among the transactions are agencies attributed to the accused proving that he is impersonating a lawyer.”

She added, “A due process report was drawn up, and it was presented, along with the accused and the seized items, before the eyes of the competent investigating judge, who decided to detain him pending investigation.”

On January 3, the Commission announced that it had arrested (8) commentators in Baghdad, (3) commentators in Kirkuk, as well as one commentator in Anbar province, who were practicing their work in violation of the law.

It is noteworthy that the President of the Integrity Commission, Judge (Haider Hanoun), appreciated the cooperation of citizens and the media in reporting cases of corruption, bargaining and extortion through its official outlets, considering them two main partners of the Commission in combating corruption, as they provided the Commission with accurate information that facilitated the work of its investigators in apprehending the accused and supporting their investigations. with evidence and evidence required by the judiciary; to be able to issue appropriate judicial decisions.
