Integration between applications Messenger e Instagram may be coming to an end. At least, that’s what leaker information indicates. Alessandro Paluzzi (@alex193a), who published regarding the subject on his profile on X (ex-Twitter). In this way, it will not be possible to reply to Facebook messenger contacts through the photo and video network.
The tipster also posted a screenshot that illustrates what he says. In it, there is a conversation window with a contact and a prominent notice that informs regarding the end of the ability to reply to people from Messenger through the direct message section of Instagram.
Apparently, this integration already has an end date and should last until mid-October. Even so, it will still be possible to read messages received through Instagram DMs. The leaker, in turn, did not provide further details regarding this novelty.
This integration between the two apps started in 2020 and has undergone several updates with improvements and addition of features. Now, it looks like its days are numbered. As for the Goal, there was no official position on the part of the company that explains the reason for this integration being undone.
The company has even been contacted, but has not responded so far. It is worth remembering that TudoCelular has a tutorial that helps you manually undo this integration and you can still use it while the partnership between the two apps is not officially broken.
