The judge of the Civil Court of Bologna, Emanuela Romano, after having reserved herself at the conclusion of yesterday morning’s hearing, validated the expulsion from Italy of Zulfiqar Khan, the imam of the Iqraa Islamic cultural center in via Jacopo di Paolo (Bologna ), as ordered by the Minister of the Interior Matteo Piantedosi with a removal decree for reasons of state security. “The expulsion decree of the Minister of the Interior has been validated by the judge. Imam of Bologna repatriated”. This is what the Interior Minister announced on X.
“A Pakistani citizen, expelled by the Minister of the Interior for reasons of state security, has been repatriated. The man, president of an Islamic association in Bologna, was known for his religious fanaticism and for his positions characterized by strong resentment anti-Western and anti-Semitic. The individual had repeatedly expressed a fundamentalist vision of jihad, glorifying the attacks carried out by Hamas and could favor dangerous processes of radicalization”, wrote Piantedosi. The leader of the League Matteo Salvini is satisfied: “No space in Italy for those who support Islamic terrorism. At home!”.
