PARIS (Agefi-Dow Jones)–The construction and concessions group Eiffage announced Monday that it had obtained, in a consortium with the British engineering company Enshore Subsea, a contract worth 192 million euros for the installation of cables. electric submarines in Dakar, Senegal.
This contract was awarded by the public authority MCA-Senegal II and is one of the various projects developed within the framework of the Senegal Power Compact program between Senegal and the United States.
The new cables will improve the high voltage network in the Senegalese capital and its surroundings. Work at sea will begin in October 2023 and should be completed before the end of 2025, Eiffage said in a press release.
