Instagram works on new “My Week” feature for Stories

Over the past few months, we have reported on the number of features that the Instagram team has been working on simultaneously to incorporate into the platform, ranging from AI features to on-screen shortcuts on the yet-to-be-released Galaxy S24.

But it seems that we should soon have a much bigger new feature, which directly impacts all users of the social network: the arrival of the “My Week” (“My Week” in direct translation).

According to rumors, the new function – as the name suggests – will allow users to post stories that last up to a week. And posts can be removed or added to the resource’s timeline without much fanfare.

As usual, as it is still under development, the function is not available to platform users; and for those interested in the feature, unfortunately, there is still no date for it to be launched by Instagram.

In any case, if the feature actually arrives on the social network over the next few months, it is possible that it will significantly change the dynamics of posts in stories, taking away some of the platform’s momentarity – even if it’s just for 7 days.
