Certain functions are born following users give that way to perform a certain task, even if there is still no official solution. It is the case of the new Instagram “Before and After” stickerwhich, in a way, officializes the traditional comparison between two photos that is so popular in the application.
The novelty arrived without much fanfare to the Meta app and, as its name already indicates, allows you to add two photos to the same Story with comparative frames. According to Instagram, the new sticker is ideal for sharing “memories, creative projects” and more.
It is still necessary to take a photo or select one from the gallery before joining in the fun – but you can choose any image and resize it to hide it behind the sticker or even a custom background that serves to “house” the two photos that will be compared.
Only when a photo is already selected in the editing field will the user finally be able to select the novelty in the sticker drawer. Just tap the center of each of the two frames to choose the photo you want to add as the “before” and the photo for the “following”.
Once the sticker is configured, you can customize it the way you want: either changing the text of each frame, repositioning and/or resizing each element. This flexibility with regard to the name, in particular, is interesting as it allows making virtually any comparison, not just between “before and following”.
