Instagram video integrated with reel – Techrecipe

On July 21, 2022, Meta, which operates Instagram, announced that videos posted on Instagram will be shared as Reels.

According to the announcement of the meta, videos that are less than 15 minutes in the future will be reeled. Videos longer than 15 minutes or previously uploaded videos become Instagram videos as before. Meta describes the change as part of Instagram’s effort to provide a more immersive full-screen experience. The app also integrates the profile video and the reel tab into one.

With this change, if a reel video is uploaded to a private account, all users can create their own reel using the reel as a material. You can disable your reels from being used in your account settings, and if your account is private, your reels will only be visible to your followers.

With a new tool for creating and sharing reels, Instagram has added a Dual feature that lets you add your own reactions to other people’s reels. In this function, you can take pictures using the front camera and the rear camera of the smartphone at the same time. In addition, a function (Templates) to create a reel from a photo or video using a template prepared in advance is available.

Instagram also released Reels Remix as a duet-like feature on TikTok. This allows you to choose a layout from the green screen, horizontal or vertical split screen, or PIP reactive view. In addition, a photo remix option has been added, allowing users to remix their uploaded photos. Remix is enabled by default, but you can turn it off in your account settings and set whether or not to remix individually for individual posts.

Meta revealed that the newly uploaded video will become a reel within the next few weeks. Related content this placecan be checked in
