As we reported at the end of last month, the Meta announced its paid verification stamp for the Facebook and the Instagram — however, the amount to get a little blue mark on your account had not been disclosed in the Brazil… until now.
As noted by our contributor Vinícius Porto, the monthly plan to get verified (among other benefits) will cost R$80 (R$79.90, to be precise) monthly.
In addition to the verified seal, the signature of the Meta Verified guarantees proactive protection (which prevents impersonation), direct (human) support and exclusive stickers. Other previously publicized benefits include: greater protection once morest fake accounts and increased reach of accounts and discoverability of their content in searches, comments and recommendations.
It is important to note, however, that when you purchase a subscription to Meta Verified on Instagram, the benefits will not apply to your Facebook account (and vice versa). Likewise, if a user has multiple accounts on any of these platforms, he must purchase a subscription for each of them to obtain the benefits on all of them, if he so desires.
It is worth noting that the Meta Verified is not available yet, so users must join the company’s waitlist (via iOS or Android devices).
