O Instagram is testing a feature called Flipside (“Opposite Side”, in free translation), aiming to offer a private space for users to share more personal content with a select group of friends.
According to the developer Alessandro Paluzziin practice the function will allow the customization of a separate profile without the need for a new account — initially, it was known as Your Space (“Your Space”, in Portuguese).

ℹ️ Everything you share on Flipside is still subject to community guidelines.
Still according to Paluzzi, the feature will allow users to have a different profile photo, name and biography, separate from their public profile. The intention, according to him, is to eliminate the need for alternative accounts, practice that has become popular globally.
As Flipsideusers will be able to manage who has access to this private space, provided, of course, that the content complies with Instagram’s community guidelines.
As usual, the network did not comment on the testing of the resource, much less estimate a date for it to be launched — if it is even released. Still, this possible addition should please many users. Let’s wait…
