The famous cameras Insta360 gained integration with two of the main smartwatches available on the market: the Apple Watch and the Garmin. The feature is available for all of the brand’s cameras and allows you to synchronize data captured by the watches with your footage.

This is interesting news, especially for those who have purchased (or intend to buy) an Insta360 with the aim of filming their adventures such as trails, races or even training. To enjoy it, just download the Insta360 appregister your camera and wait for the automatic calibration to ensure that the camera and software times are exactly the same.

To use it with the Apple Watch, simply take a video, select the recorded video in the Insta360 software, and tap Stats in the bottom menu. Then, just select Apple Health as the data source and choose which data you want to share so that the metrics are automatically added to the app.

You can display data such as current speed, angle, distance traveled, acceleration, elevation and heart rate in real time. Users can also adjust the interface to choose a design they find most interesting, as well as select which data they want to display.

The way to use it with a Garmin device is quite similar, with the difference mainly in the way the device’s data is synchronized with the smartphone. In both cases, you can export the generated file to the Photos app or share it with any other compatible app.
