INSS awaits resolution of liabilities – Jornal OPaís

To carry out this process, the management of Petro de Luanda worked with the National Social Security Institute (INSS) and it was agreed that, in the near future, Tomás Faria’s management should assume the financial liabilities, according to a source linked to the process in corridors of the road axis.

Because of this, INSS overcame the situation and hopes that other clubs will take the field to do the same, as this will allow many athletes to overcome the difficulties they find themselves in.

“The financial hole that Petro will pay to the INSS was agreed and is safeguarded, because there are guarantees for this purpose in the near future”, guarantees the source of the newspaper O PAÍS.

In addition to the sporting component, Petro’s management, regarding the next Olympic cycle 2024/2028, takes the social component of athletes as a flag, in the sense of not making past mistakes.

Therefore, the relationship between the management of Petro de Luanda and the INSS should continue and under the terms of the new General Labor Law, in light of the contracts, many issues will be safeguarded.

The source of this newspaper adds that athletes, as they already have agents, must be more prudent in managing what they achieve, as well as creating conditions to learn regarding the legal instruments that are sought.

This will help to reduce disputes between athletes and managers, since from a practical point of view they have different functions and the so-called principle of private autonomy regarding the making of contracts prevails.

Number of beneficiaries

At the moment, the management of Petro de Luanda is carrying out a survey to conclude the number of former practitioners who will benefit from the retirement pension in the coming months.

According to the source, the inventory is practically completed and everything indicates that the previous departments have files and this should facilitate administrative work.

The source of this newspaper said that the amount that each pensioner will receive will be based on positive discrimination, that is, according to the position that each former athlete held until reaching retirement age or the length of time working at the club defined by law. .
