Insomnia leads to sudden death

A prominent Egyptian expert in neurosurgery has warned of the repercussions of insomnia, pointing out that the consequences of chronic insomnia may lead to death in the event of neglect of treatment.

Dr. Mohamed Samir Al Mulla, a consultant neurosurgeon, said in an interview with an Egyptian satellite channel: “The insomnia patient faces many problems in regulating sleep hours, which often leads to depression,” noting that many insomnia sufferers suffer from At the same time, the lack of focus and the inability to make the right decision, which affects their psychological and nervous state.

Al-Mulla said that some people who suffer from chronic insomnia, sometimes things may lead to sudden death, due to lack of sleep, noting that insomnia is a disease that should not be underestimated, as sleeping during the night helps regulate body hormones in a healthy way, while Trying to compensate for the hours of sleep during the day, would cause a major imbalance in the human body.

Al-Mulla advises those who suffer from insomnia at night, to listen to calm music, or read a book before bed, in addition to the need to change their daily behavior, to avoid arguing and quarrels, as well as to stay away from eating fatty food and eating meals with low calories.
