The Polish studio Bloober Team is in no hurry to reveal details of the remake of one of the most important and iconic horror games: Silent Hill 2.
The only trailer was revealed in fall 2022 and since then there have been no details regarding the game. The situation is being rectified by respected game insider Dusk Golem, who has been sharing exclusive news on a regular basis.

A Dusk Golem subscriber asked if Bloober Team was planning to expand on the original game, to which the insider replied, “Yes, the game will be 100% bigger than the original.”
If we try to nail down this answer, we can assume that players will be offered not just a technically updated game, but an augmented and expanded remake similar to those released by Capcom. If so, players can expect new locations, quests, and possibly a slightly altered storyline or developers introducing new characters.
Given Silent Hill 2’s cult status, Bloober Team is playing it safe, as even the slightest deviation from the original might trigger a flurry of criticism from fans, especially if they don’t like the new additions.
