The RAGE 9 engine, on which GTA VI will be developed, will surpass all competitors in its capabilities. This was announced by an insider and creator of the French site Rockstar Mag’ Chris Klippel on Twitter.
Klippel cited reviews from unnamed sources and clarified that he had not seen anything with his own eyes. According to them, fans will definitely not be disappointed in the new release from Rockstar. The insider also noted that the RAGE 9 engine will be ahead of its time. In his opinion, the developers want to surpass Epic Games’ Unreal Engine 5.
In early February, representatives from Rockstar announced that the creation of a new part of the GTA “is in full swing.” However, the developers said that they are not yet ready to share the details and release date of the title. In March there were rumorsthat the game will be presented at the end of 2022.
