Inside the Submarine Titan: Shocking Video Reveals Problems Before Catastrophe

A YouTube user published his experience inside the submarine “Titan”, days before the catastrophe of its disappearance, and he also met with the captain of the submarine, Rush Stockton, who shockingly indicated problems with it.

The shock was that Stockton, who was among 5 passengers killed inside the “Titan” a few days ago, expressed during the video his concern regarding “problems related to the submarine’s control systems.”

Jake Kohler posted a nearly 30-minute video clip on his DALLMYD YouTube channel, Friday.

Kohler’s channel has more than 13 million subscribers, and he often posts videos of himself searching for lost items while scuba diving.

The final video chronicles Koehler’s trip to St. John’s in Newfoundland, Canada, where he joins the submarine Titan on its third mission. It is noteworthy that the submarine “exploded”, according to experts, on its last, “fifth” mission, on June 18, while trying to search for the remains of the Titanic’s hull.

The video was filmed days before the “disastrous” fifth flight, according to Koehler.

What did the video show?

Before lowering the submarine into the ocean, company president Rush Stockton decided to cancel the dive, because the submarine was having problems with functionality and bad weather conditions, which Oceangate’s president explained in the video.

Asking the crew why the dive was called off, Rush said something “just didn’t feel quite right” with the submarine’s control system, which he called the “brains” of the submarine.

“That’s why the flight is now cancelled,” Rush says in the video.

The problem, Rush said, was that two of the “control capsules” on top of the submachine weren’t “consistently communicating.”

Kohler cuts the video following Rush’s comments. Kohler says he wasn’t sure if the problem with the control pods was the same one that later caused Titan’s catastrophic implosion.

And the US Coast Guard announced, on Thursday, that the wreckage of the submarine “Titan”, which was carrying 5 people on a voyage to the Titanic that sank more than 100 years ago, had been found, and that its destruction was caused by a “catastrophic internal explosion” that claimed the lives of all those on board, to end. Thus, a multinational search operation that lasted 5 days.

Among the passengers is Stockton Rush, the founder and CEO of Ocean Gate Expeditions, which operated the missing submarine, and he was its captain during the voyage.
