Russian security services raided the mansion of Wagner Group leader Yevgeny Prigozhin in St. Petersburg to find many strange items, such as wigs, gold bars, a cache of weapons, a stuffed crocodile, and a framed picture said to be the severed heads of Prigozhin’s enemies.

The pro-Kremlin newspaper Izvestia published photos and videos of armed officers searching Prigozhin’s palace during his exile in Belarus on June 24.

Huge caches of weapons were found, including assault rifles and cartridges, as well as a large closet containing many wigs of different shapes and colors.

A large number of boxes containing Russian banknotes worth regarding £86 million (10 billion rubles) were also confiscated.

Russian media reported that the money and equipment had been returned to the office and the Wagner Center.

Among the private military leader’s prized possessions that were photographed was a Russian military uniform adorned with some twenty medals.

The photos also revealed the luxury Prigozhin lived in, revealing a private swimming pool, helipad, sauna, gym and medical office.

The Wagner commander moved to Belarus, as part of the settlement agreement brokered by Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko.

A Kremlin spokesman said that the Belarusian president helped mediate with Wagner, which declared a “rebellion” once morest the Russian state, adding that he “highly appreciates his efforts,” highlighting that the agreement was reached to avoid further losses.

He continued, “Prigozhin will move to Belarus, and the criminal offense once morest him will be dropped.”
