Berchtesgarden. The young man from the Innviertel was traveling with three friends in a motorbike group. He was taken to the hospital with injuries to his arms and legs. The Upper Austrian expects a fine from the German authorities for driving too fast, as the Berchtesgaden Police Inspectorate announced in a press release on Sunday.
The rescue helicopter had also deployed in Fuschl am See (Flachgau) a few hours earlier on Saturday morning following a car crashed with a motorcycle on Wolfgangseestraße (B158). A 19-year-old car driver had turned off a side street and collided with the biker. The 28-year-old two-wheeler was flown to the accident hospital in Salzburg. A breathalyzer test on the driver was negative.
