“With the money of private sector investors, not only residential buildings are being built in new cities, but also new, comfortable and modern infrastructure is being created,” he added.
Govirin pointed out that the main task of modern projects is to “impose new living conditions based on advanced, environmentally friendly technology and achieve economic feasibility.”
According to him, special attention should be paid to the social sector in cities, including the establishment of social infrastructure facilities, the identification of financing mechanisms and sources and operating systems for infrastructure facilities, as well as issues of financing the maintenance and development of educational and health facilities.
Goverin noted that there are already examples of successfully implemented or planned projects such as “Dobrograd in Vladimir, Innopolis in Tatarstan, Ecopolis in Sakhalin, DNS City in Primorsky and others.”
The Eastern Economic Forum will be held from September 3 to 6 at the Far Eastern Federal University campus in Vladivostok.
