In our series of interventional procedures in video, we present to you today the modern procedures for the percutaneous treatment of coronary bifurcations. An international panel of interventional cardiologists hosted an Incathlab webinar on this topic on March 16, 2023.

Pr Goran Stankovic (Belgrade – Serbia), Pr Azeem Latib and Dr Asma Khaliq (New York – USA), as well as Pr Jens Flensted Lassen (Odense – Denmark) and Pr Francesco Burzotta (Rome – Italy) met succeeded in presenting respectively a review of new developments in the field, two live cases from Minneapolis (Minnesota – USA), the procedures recommended for the treatment of bifurcations and finally the various active stents.
Note the use by Prof. Azeem Latib of an intravascular endoscopy device which makes it possible to visualize on video, in addition to radioscopy, the coronaries treated and in particular the position of the stents.
