In Yo-han, Chairman of the Innovation Committee of the People Power Party, expressed his commitment to active communication.
Chairman In met with reporters at the People’s Power Party headquarters in Yeouido, Seoul on the 25th and said, “I will talk openly and without hesitation, even when faced with hardships, and I will talk without hesitation not only with the party leader but also with the president if given the opportunity.”
Chairman In, who selected ‘change’ and ‘integration’ as the core values of the Innovation Committee’s activities, said, “The reason I came here is that my face itself is a little different. It symbolizes change. I will change it.”
Chairman In, who emphasized his will for innovation activities by saying, “Even if I am a little broken, sacrificed, or hurt a lot here, I will do my best,” also announced his plan to visit the May 18 National Cemetery in Gwangju first when the Innovation Committee is formed around next week.
Analysis suggests that this was in consideration of Kim Jong-in, then chairman of the United Future Party’s emergency response committee, who visited the May 18 National Cemetery in Gwangju in August 2020 and made a so-called ‘kneeling apology’.
Regarding the Innovation Committee’s involvement in the nomination rules, which is receiving the most attention, he stated that he would not be directly involved, saying, “I think things like a house will do well if the foundation is well laid.”
