The American Glynn Simmons, who was acquitted after almost half a century in prison, wants to work for change in the US justice system. “That’s my inspiration for the future, trying to get back and help some of the lads who are in the same situation as I was,” the 71-year-old said in a BBC interview at the weekend. “We need to do something about criminal justice reform. We need to really rethink how we do that.”
