Initiative Location welcomes “Austria Plan” as a commitment to the business location

Positive signals must be followed by action in the coming months – the economy and prosperity are in the foreground – proposals on property are also to be welcomed

Vienna (OTS) – The Location Initiative, a platform consisting of 13 leading interest groups, welcomes the “Austria Plan” presented by Chancellor Karl Nehammer as a significant commitment to the domestic business location. The clear emphasis on the idea of performance in Nehammer’s speech is a positive signal for the numerous top performers in the country. Because more vacation and less work and performance will not lead us to achieve our goals. The plea for prosperity and performance in Austria must not remain empty lip service, but must also be put into practice through concrete measures. The tax relief mentioned above would strengthen the location and competitiveness and provide important incentives to strengthen personal responsibility and entrepreneurship.

For our platform, property is a fundamental value in a free economic and social order; it is a prerequisite for freedom and independence. Property is also the driving force for performance and the pursuit of gainful employment; against this background, Chancellor Nehammer’s proposals in this area are to be welcomed.

The Location Initiative – Platform for Performance and Ownership is an association of 13 interest groups that work together to promote Austria as a business location and jobs.
