ININ Games is bringing many of the franchise’s games to the West for the first time • JPGAMES.DE

Publisher ININ Games has announced the release of the Ninja JaJaMaru Collection for the West. Three collections of games, some of which have never been released in the West, await you for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 next year. Retail versions will be available for pre-order from Strictly Limited from August 12, 2022.

Jaleco’s Ninja JaJaMaru got its start in the 80’s and is known to have spawned a number of sequels over the years, most of which never came out in the West. CityConnection has brought the games to modern platforms and the following collections await you.

Ninja JaJaMaru: The Great Yokai Battle – Deluxe Edition is aimed at jump’n-run fans and summarizes the platform games in the series. Six games are included, originally released across multiple platforms and decades, including Ninja JaJaMaru: The Great Yokai Battle, released in Japan in 2022. Included are:

  • Ninja JaJaMaru-kun (1985, Famicom/NES)
  • JaJaMaru’ no Daibouken (1986, Famicom/NES)
  • Oira JaJaMaru! Sekai Daibouken (1990, Game Boy)
  • Ninja JaJaMaru – Gingadaisakusen (1991, Famicom/NES)
  • Super Ninja-kid (1994, Super Famicom/SNES)
  • Ninja JaJaMaru: The Great Yokai Battle (2022)

In addition, ININ Games Ninja JaJaJaMaru: The Lost RPGs publish. The name says it all, they are the RPG games of the series. The two Famicom classics are localized for the first time. Included are:

  • Ninja JaJaMaru: Ninpouchou (1989, Famicom/NES)
  • Ninja JaJaMaru: Gekimaden – Maboroshi no Kinmajou (1990, Famicom/NES)

The third and final collection is JaJaMaru: Legendary Ninja Collection and will please fans who want to get to know the “whole picture” of the series. Consequently, this collection includes all games of the two aforementioned collections.
