In the program series “European Home Club” created by the Representation of the European Commission in Lithuania and LT Big Brother, viewers can expect five special interviews with Lithuanian and European leaders, public figures – Gitana Nausėda, Ingrida Šimonyte, Viktorija Čmilyte-Nielsen, Virginijs Sinkevičius and Marijon Mikutavičius.
This project is special in that it seeks to reveal the human side of leaders – personal experiences, painful experiences and memorable events in childhood and youth.
The first president to visit the show, G. Nausėda, did not only tell about personal experiences and experiences, but also showed that he can sing. The second participant of the show, I. Šimonytė, revealed what challenges awaited her in the prime minister’s chair.
About your hot way
I.Šimonytė, when asked on the show about her manner and courage to speak what she thinks, remembered that while she was studying at Vilnius Žirmūnai 7th secondary school, which she graduated from, she distinguished herself by saying what she thought.
“And I didn’t always like what I said, but because I was well educated, some things probably slipped by me more easily than they would have slipped by the most peaceful person, who would have been much less argumentative about things.” There were situations when it was necessary to defend a classmate, because it seemed to me that someone was making unjustified accusations against him. Did you fight for some kind of justice, as they say. I just think that’s the way I am,” she said.
The Prime Minister said that after becoming a politician, she tries not to change and to be herself, rather than playing some role.
“My overall goal in life is not to feel sick when I look in the mirror. As long as I’m lucky enough not to be sick of myself, then I think everything is more or less good,” she smiled.
