Fraudsters Use the Name of the Institution to Offer Loans That Turn Out to Be a Scam
Mexico City — Well, well, well! Grab your wallets, folks, because it seems the fraudsters are back at it again! Just when you thought it was safe to go back on the internet, Infonavit has raised the alarm, warning the good people of Mexico City to steer clear of those glossy online cash loan promises. Yes, that’s right! Infonavit is here to tell you that if an offer sounds too good to be true, it probably is… like my last haircut.
The agency has pointedly noted that it does NOT disburse cash loans via payroll functions, a fact that might not stop your average rogue with a flashy website. There’s nothing like the promise of 100,000 pesos to make someone’s eyes light up, right? But hold your horses! These chaps are as genuine as a three-pound note! So, listen closely! The Mejoravit Repara or Mejoravit Renueva loans aren’t going to land in your bank account like magic; they won’t even give you the satisfaction of a good *knock-knock joke*!
Infonavit, in a statement that could probably be reduced to a simple “Are you thick?!” emphasizes the point: cash loans through payroll? Fat chance! You’ll be more likely to win a prize in a cereal box than see a cent from these shady pretend bankers.
Now, while we’re at it, let’s dive into the nuts and bolts of Infonavit’s actual offerings. To be considered for any Mejoravit credits, you’ll need to check the balance of your Housing Subaccount (it’s like checking your bank account, but with more paperwork!) and prequalify on their My Infonavit Account portal—totally free of charge, of course! No hidden fees, no surprise guests, not even Uncle Bob trying to sell you a timeshare.
The Mejoravit Repara credit offers between 9,901 pesos and 39,606 pesos, which clearly gives you the chance to do that wonderful home improvement project you’ve been putting off since 2004. Who doesn’t want to bring their home up to date? Just be ready to pay it back over 1 to 5 years with an annual interest rate of 10%. A bit of a long game, but much more legitimate than knocking on the door of a van with tinted windows!
Then there’s the Mejoravit Renueva, which hands out between 39,606 pesos and 156,445 pesos—ideal for when you’ve decided that the *spaghetti wall decor* just isn’t cutting it anymore. This has an annual interest rate of 11% and can be paid back over a decade. So whether you’re in it for the long haul or just flirting with the idea of renovation, you have choices… that don’t involve shady scams!
But let’s cut to the chase! To even think about applying for these credits, you’ll need to be employed, under 70 (age plus loan term can’t exceed that), and for the lovely ladies, let’s just say you need to be under 75. Plus, you’ll need updated biometric records because let’s be honest, nobody wants to be confused with someone else who thought they could pull a fast one!
So folks, remember: if you see cash loans thrust upon you faster than a bad joke at a comedy club, it’s probably a scam! Do your research, keep your wits about you, and definitely steer clear of fly-by-night fraudsters trying to play the system. Infonavit is your friend, just don’t let the con artists squeeze past the bouncers. Stay savvy!
