“Infographic Release: Schedule for Odd Nights during the Concluding Ten Days of Ramadan commencing from April 11th.”

God’s wisdom required that the Night of Decree be hidden in Ramadan so that the fasting person would strive to seek it, especially in the last ten days of it, and wake his family as the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, used to do. Hoping that the Night of Power in which God Almighty said: “The night of destiny is better than a thousand months. [القدر: 3-5]So it will be his share of this world and he will obtain the pleasure of God in this world and in the Herefollowing. Therefore, God concealed the Night of Power in the days of the month of Ramadan; Urging the fasting people to double their work in Ramadan, and the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, was striving to seek it in the last ten days of Ramadan.

The jurists differed regarding its designation, and due to the existing disagreement among the scholars, the Muslim should not hesitate to ask for it in the odd days of the last ten days. Hadiths have been mentioned regarding the virtue of reviving it, including what was narrated by Al-Bukhari and Muslim on the authority of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, that the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, said: “Whoever spends the Night of Decree in prayer out of faith and in anticipation of reward, his past sins will be forgiven.”

As for the popular supplication if God honors the Muslim on this night, on the authority of Aisha, may God be pleased with her, she said: I said: O Messenger of God, have you seen that if the Night of Decree falls, what should I supplicate? He said: “Say: O Allah, You are pardoning and love to pardon, so pardon me.”
