Influenza: Brittany has entered the “pre-epidemic” phase

The epidemic promises to be quite early in a health context already made difficult by a persistent Covid and an outbreak of cases of bronchiolitis. According to figures from Public Health France, the last week has been marked by an increase in all flu indicators, especially among those under 15. Thus, consultations with the doctor have been more numerous in Morbihan and Finistère, in the last seven days. Brittany was the first region, from the beginning of November, to enter the pre-epidemic phase. Four other regions are now concerned. It should be noted that the vaccination campaign is also continuing, aimed at seniors, vulnerable people and pregnant women.
