This week’s Open House is by the house of ddigital influencer, coach and specialist in branding behavioral Carol Deny. With 250m², blue kitchen and integration between living room and balcony, the apartment’s design was designed to adapt to Carol’s lifestyle: in addition to being a digital influencer, she and her husband have five children.

For this reason, architect Ana Rozenblit, from the Spaço Interior office, found the solution to create several instagrammable corners around the apartment. The coffee corner, for example, is often used by Carol to produce her Instagram content. Thus, it is possible to see the apartment as a cozy and perfect home to receive friends and, during the day to day, an ideal work environment.

The mix of classic and contemporary styles inspired the architecture and interior design. As the couple are very fond of colors, the architect also included a lot of furniture and colors, such as the orange sofa by Artefacto, which is the protagonist of the spacious and integrated living room. To reinforce the idea of integration and a clean environment, mimicked doors complete the project.

Casa de Valentina: What was Carol Deny’s main request for the project?

Ana Rozenblit: She and her husband have five children and were looking for a living bigger. To meet the customer’s request, we integrated the balcony with the living room, removing the frames that were all over the place and leaving the space more functional and spacious. From that, we allowed the environment to be ideal for receiving friends and family (one of the owner’s favorite things), and of course, for the comfort of the couple and the children as well.

CV: Was the renovation complete?

Ana Rozenblit: The apartment was completely renovated, with a change of joinery and coverings, making the apartment more expensive and leaving it the way the couple wanted it.

CV: What was the inspiration for the project?

Ana Rozenblit: The inspiration for the architecture and interior project was the mixture of classic and contemporary styles. In addition, as the couple like colors, we use a lot of colorful furniture and rugs to meet the requests and style of the customers (such as the orange sofa from Artefacto).

CV: What regarding the coat colors?

Ana Rozenblit: The coatings chosen were very light and with streaks, which makes the environment more sophisticated, both on the floor and at the back of the shelf. Another highlight is the floor in the living room, which was also used at the bottom of the TV shelf.

CV: Can you talk a little bit regarding the blue kitchen?

Ana Rozenblit: With vigorous blue furniture, the kitchen cabinets have a lacquered finish and feature very special detailing on the doors and drawers, topped off with shell handles. The kitchen’s design follows a mix between modern and classic styles, resulting in joy and a very special touch to the environment, gaining even more sophistication with the marbled floor.
