It is still uncertain how successful The Quad’s project might be. The social networks have completely changed interpersonal communication and in the last ten years brought forth a new squad of stars. Even if these personalities flicker on laptop and mobile phone screens every day, each of their attempts to establish themselves on the big screen mostly failed.

I find it difficult to pinpoint the reasons for this. On the one hand it is related to the lack of acting skills of influencers and on the other hand to the acceptance of the audience, who still see a big difference between cinema films and online content.

However, no project has been as ambitious as Kavanagh’s label. If his plan actually works, Hollywood productions might change permanently in the future.
