Inflation: here are the ten products that have been spared by the price hike in supermarkets

The prices of these products did not exceed more than 1%.

Energy and food prices are driving prices up. With the post-Covid economic recovery, and since the start of the war in Ukraine, inflation is exploding in Europe. In France, inflation reached 5.8% over one year in June 2022.

According 60 million consumersprices in hypermarkets, supermarkets, drives, discount and convenience stores have increased by an average of 4.37% over the past year.

Lower prices for bulbs and batteries

From now on, there is + 20% on frozen meats, + 15% for pasta or + 12% on oils. In detail, ground steaks jumped 4.5% in one month. Industrial breads also saw an increase of +3.5 in June, for a total increase of 6.3% year on year. Butter, eggs, flour (+7%) and milk (+4.8%). But some products have seen little or no increase, according to figures from the NielsenIQ institute. Here they are :

  • products dishes (+1,3%) ;
  • Savon (1,3%) ;
  • products of shaving (1,1%) ;
  • whisky (1,1%) ;
  • products of body and face care (1%) ;
  • deodorants (0,9%) ;
  • maintenance products hair (0,5%) ;
  • makeup (0,2%) ;
  • piles (-0,2%) ;
  • ampoules electricity (-1.1%).

But beware, “as with any currently manufactured object, manufacturers will soon have to pass on the increase in energy to their selling price. This stability is ephemeral, so we must take advantage of it now, if we can”, specifies the magazine.
