The Infinix Smart 8 budget smartphone was announced last week in the Indian market, and the phone has already started arriving in stores.
So here are all the details like specifications, price, color options and availability.
The phone will be available in several color options, namely Starry White, Iridescent Blue, Shiny Gold, and Jet Black.
The Infinix Smart 8 features a 6.6-inch display with HD+ resolution, 500 nits of peak brightness, a 90Hz refresh rate, a 180Hz touch response rate, and a 1500:1 contrast ratio. Under the hood, the Smart 8 is powered by a MediaTek Helio G36 processor with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB of eMMC 5.1 storage. Users can expand the storage capacity up to 2TB using a microSD card, and can also increase the virtual memory by another 3GB.
The Infinix Smart 8 runs Android 13 GO Edition with the XOS 13 custom UI. The back has a 50-megapixel main camera with an AI lens and a quad LED ring, while the front has an 8-megapixel camera for taking selfies and video calls.
Other notable features include a large 5,000mAh battery, side fingerprint scanner, 189g weight, Bluetooth 5.0, dual SIM, and GPS.

It comes at a budget-friendly price of regarding 90 US dollars, which is less than 3,000 Egyptian pounds. The Infinix Smart 8 went on sale in India earlier today (January 15, 2024) and is registered on Flipkart, a popular online retailer in India.
