Infinity Bridge opens | 14Jan2022

Dubai : Infinity Bridge over the Creek UAE Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai inaugurated the event.

Describing the Infinity Bridge as a masterpiece of new global engineering, art and architecture, he dedicated the bridge at Dera Shindaga to the people. He shared photos and videos of himself walking the bridge with celebrities on social media along with the announcement message. Construction of the bridge, formerly known as the Shindaga Bridge, began in 2018. It is 300 meters long and 22 meters wide and has six lanes in both directions. Up to 24,000 vehicles can pass through at a time.

The bridge is built at a height of 15 meters above the river for boats to pass through.

Larger boats can cross the bridge 24 hours a day. The attraction of the bridge is the arch that represents the infinity (infinity) in mathematics. The top of the arch is 42 meters high. 500 crore RTA As part of the project, the Shindaga Bridge will extend 13 km to Sheikh Rashid Street, Al Mina District, Al Khaleej Street and Cairo Street. Sheikh Mohammed was accompanied by the Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and other officials at the inauguration ceremony.
