“Ten vehicles and around 70 firefighters are tackling a block of flats fire in Rosenthal Street, Catford. Two apartments on the 9th and 10th floors of the building are on fire,” the Service said in its announcement.
The causes of the fire remain unknown at this time.
The fire came on the same day that Judge Martin Moore Beak’s final report into the 2017 Grenfell Tower fire, which killed 72 people, was released.
