Two planes collided on a runway at Heathrow in London. The incident happened on the runway of the airport of the British capital.

No one was on board the Virgin Atlantic plane at the time of the crash, a spokesman for the airline said.

“The wingtip of one of our empty aircraft came into contact with another aircraft while being towed from the apron at London Heathrow Terminal 3. The safety of our customers and crew is always our first priority. We can confirm that no customers were on board the aircraft,” he added.
