Industry specialized in hospital furniture presents investment plan in the country

Asunción, IP Agency.- The firm NBTech Ltda presented its investment proposal in the country for specialized production to authorities of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce (MIC).

The company based in Caxias do Sul, Brazil, manufactures hospital furniture such as beds, stretchers, equipment for nursing homes, among others. It is currently in the process of establishing a business company in Paraguay.

The Vice Minister of Industry, Lorena Méndez, received the president of the firm, Edgar Moraes, who presented a market study and his investment projections in the country.

NBTech will land in the department of Alto Paraná, with an investment plan divided into two phases. A first of US$ 1 million for imports to the regional market, and a second of US$ 4 to 5 million, with local manufacturing of components, training for local manufacturing, incorporation of machinery and generating specialized labor positions.

The company’s representative highlighted the potential and attractiveness of Paraguay for investments. Likewise, he pointed out that the company is already in the country, through the opening of the company by the EAS, so in a next step the representatives request the support of the MIC to technically accompany it throughout the process to operate optimally. , guaranteeing continuity.

The vice minister pointed out the opportunity to train a specialized workforce in techniques such as mechatronics, the creation of 3D matrices and management software for specialized teams.
