Owner of a large industrial park, the city of Sete Lagoas, in Minas Gerais, has several attractions for the implementation of industries. The city is 72 kilometers away from the state capital, Belo Horizonte, and the forecast is that it will have easier access due to the concession of the MG-424 highway to the private sector.
The region has a favorable demographic profile and the investment in highways and logistic optimization contribute to the promotion of the implantation of industries, enhancing the economic scenario of the state. The expectation is that Minas Gerais will expand its possibilities of having a more active economy and generating jobs and income from the offer of infrastructure that benefits sustainable development.
“The planned improvements with duplications, implementation of third lanes and bypasses, among others, will facilitate the logistics issues of the companies installed in the city, in its surroundings, and of those that intend to settle in the region”, evaluates the responsible for the development and management of assets of Aurea Finvest in Minas Gerais, André Pompeu. He points out that Sete Lagoas already has many benefits, such as facilitation and flexibility for the implementation of industries, and benefits from the competitive ICMS in Minas Gerais, in addition to adopting the “Decree of Economic Freedom”, which makes it possible to approve projects in the municipality in up to 60 days. The good offer of qualified labor by the operations of the Sesi and Senai technical schools is another differential.
This scenario enhances the environment for the development of an industrial enterprise in the city, with more than 360 thousand square meters for the immediate implantation of companies and factories in a land that has complete infrastructure. On site, WIPO, an Italian industry that manufactures ampoules, is already in operation, and Vimaster, an asphalt signaling paint manufacturing industry, Medcom, a drug manufacturer, and GreenCar, a special vehicle transformer, will be installed.
In addition to the industrial enterprise in Sete Lagoas, there are other projects in the state: in Esmeraldas, a subdivision is planned for a second home, which is in the approval phase. Another asset is an area of 464 thousand square meters also located in the municipality, with an environmental vocation. The area is located on the urban perimeter of the city, in a region that is easy to monitor.
In Ribeirão das Neves, open neighborhoods will be developed with lots of 250 square meters and there is the possibility that land will be used for local commerce and wholesale; already in Vespasiano, a residential and commercial project is being started, also in the approval phase.
