Indoor sports in winter – Featured

January 27, 2023

Are freezing temperatures or even snow keeping you indoors and preventing you from practicing your favorite sport? Fortunately, the field of possibilities remains wide for you to spend… while waiting for the return of sunny days. Illustrations.

Of course, when winter comes, you can opt for a subscription to a fitness room, where you will also find advice and supervision. And so enough to keep motivation, for example during group lessons.

For the rest – always depending on your financial means and desires – you can also invest in so-called indoor equipment such as an elliptical trainer, a treadmill, a stepper or a rower. So many ideal machines to maintain your cardio-respiratory capacities, without even leaving your home.

Sheathing, skipping rope…

Beyond that, of course, many exercises require little or no specific equipment. In particular to perform muscle strengthening or any other session from a digital application. A simple floor mat is perfect for strengthening your abdominal muscles or performing cladding exercises. Also know that a jump rope is an excellent accessory to keep in shape. Provided, however, that you do not suffer from joints in the knees or hips. This will tone your cardiovascular system and strengthen your shoulders, glutes, thighs and even abs! One downside, however, to all these initiatives: they will undoubtedly remind you of the painful memory of confinement…
