Indonesian Actress Jessica Iskandar Recovering From Postpartum Bleeding

Actress Recovering After Postpartum Bleeding

Jessica Iskandar, Indonesia’s beloved actress, is currently recovering in the hospital following the arrival of her third child.

While her newborn daughter is healthy, Iskandar experienced postpartum bleeding complications, according to her brother, Erick Iskandar.

“The condition is now better than before, and we hope it will be finished quickly,” Erick Iskandar said in a recent interview. He shared that the bleeding was significant and resulted from a sticky placenta.

As a result of the postpartum hemorrhage, Iskandar received multiple blood transfusions.

“So far there have been 4 bags (of blood transfusions),” explained Erick Iskandar.

The actress had also been experiencing high blood pressure prior to her delivery.

“I also don’t understand, I’m complaining, I have high blood pressure, hypertension, like that. So I went to the hospital on Sunday,” explained Erick Iskandar.

While Iskandar grapples with her recovery, her newborn daughter has brought joy, even amidst the health challenges.

“The baby is good, good, but Jessica is bleeding a lot, the cause is the stickiness of the placenta in the uterus,” Erick Iskandar said.

He added that the baby is healthy despite a high bilirubin level.

“It’s healthy, but there is indeed a high level of bilirubin, something like that, yellow,” Erick Iskandar shared.

The dedicated brother expressed his fervent hope for his sister’s swift recovery so she can return home to her two young sons, El Barack Alexander and Don Azaiah Jan Verhaag.

“All the children are waiting. Especially the baby, the baby girl is waiting like that. Hopefully she gets better quickly. Whatever we do, the hospital and the doctors are doing their best. Take care of Jessica, so that Jessica gets better quickly. And she can go home quickly from hospital,” he hoped.
