Indie box – After You – Level Escape, a puzzle game with a very dark atmosphere

With the indie box, the entire XboxSquad editorial team offers you mini reviews of very little known or highlighted indie games. While some don’t deserve to step out of the shadows of the Xbox marketplace, others may be worth a look. This is the whole subject of this section.

Aaron wakes up. Person. The small town is abandoned. Cars crowd the streets. What is happening in this little piece of America without history? The boring suburban settings are basic enough not to worry too much. Looking closer, the many paintings on the wall sow unease. This beginning of chapter 1 is rather promising. The second chapter brings down the bellows once more when the third (and last chapter) puts a nice layer of Invasion LA with propaganda messages on the walls, except that we don’t have glasses… The epilogue is also worth it, original. So this little puzzle game with a darker atmosphere than it seems, is ideal to take care of 1 hour or 2 and recover 1000G without too much pain. Only complaint: no VF on the horizon.
