Ardia ∙ India got off to a flying start in the World Cup qualifiers following beating Kuwait at home. India won 1-0 at the Jaber Al Ahmed Stadium in Ardia. Manveer Singh scored the goal in the 75th minute. With the win, India finished second in Group A of the second round of the Asian qualifiers.
